IS IT THE CLUB, THE GOLFER OR DOES IT TAKE BOTH TO CREATE IDEAL BALL FLIGHT?

Focus is to make the connection between golf swing principles and the influence of golf club performance, i.e., what does the golf ball need to know when the club head impacts it, what makes the golf ball curve and more ...

Purpose is to mentor your professional staff on what is expected from the golfer and from the golf club when attempting to hit an ideal golf shot. Explaining the 13 Club Performance Specifications, club & ball pre-and post-impact launch monitor data of the 5-Ball Flight Laws and the Art of the 14-Swing Principles on ball flight will establish a new perspective of the influence golf equipment has on the golfer's ability to hit ideal shots.

Learn how altering club performance specifications, i.e., lofts & lie angles, grip size, club length, club weights (total and swing weight); and shaft flex, frequency & total weight will alter ball flight. This portion of the clinic is conducted on the golf range or indoor golf center with demonstrations and analysis of different ball flight results from club alterations.

This hands-on session enhances the learning experience through a test driver by interchanging different club head weights, using the same shaft model of the same weight at different playing lengths with different grip models, sizes, and weights. Specifications of each new club make-up are recorded on the Club-in-Spec Golf Club Analysis form and then launch monitor data is recorded on the SwingFit Ball Flight Analysis Form with each club make-up to determine the effects the different specifications have on ball flight.

After a thorough analysis, students will understand how to apply this club performance information when giving golf instructions and performing club fitting sessions. This is the perfect clinic for golf professionals, associates, and interns to get answers to all their questions including dispelling many traditional golf myths. Several videos are shown to support the importance of understanding what creates ideal ball flight. Every PGA Professional should attend this clinic. Learn how to incorporate club performance into your lessons. This is our premier clinic and is recommended as the gateway to the other clinics and should be scheduled first.
